Yoake's menu bar replicates real mIRC's (verified directly against the official executable):
just File, Tools, DCC, Window, Help - no View or Favorites, which in real mIRC aren't part of the
main window either.
File
Entry
What it does
Connect
Opens the network/login selector (Telegram or WhatsApp).
The timer command exists and is fully functional (see Commands), just without a dedicated graphical panel.
DCC
Entry
What it does
Send...
Sends a file privately, with an mIRC-style progress window.
Not available, with the reason:
Entry
Why
Chat...
Not possible on Telegram/WhatsApp: no direct peer-to-peer connection like on IRC. Use a private chat (query) instead.
Options...
We don't have separate DCC settings (download folder, ports).
Window
Entry
What it does
Tile
Arranges all open windows in a grid.
Cascade
Stacks them in a staircase pattern.
Close
Closes the active window.
Not available: Arrange Icons - here minimized windows go to the taskbar at the bottom, they don't stay
as icons on the desktop.

About...
Information about Yoake (version, technologies used).
Not available: Register... - real mIRC is paid software, Yoake isn't: there's nothing to register.
In general: disabled menu entries always show, on hover, an explanation
of why they're not available - either because the feature makes no sense outside IRC, or because it's already
available another way (e.g. Timer, handled from the command line).
Toolbar
The row of icons below the menu bar, left to right:
Icon
What it does
đ Connect
Connects/disconnects the active window's network (Telegram or WhatsApp) - same as File > Connect.
Shows the channels/groups of the active window's network - the same result as the list command typed with no arguments (see Commands). You need to be connected already.
đ Address Book
Opens the Address Book (see below).
đĨ Contacts
Searches a contact (Telegram or WhatsApp, depending on the active window) and opens a private chat with a double click - the same result as the contacts command typed with no arguments (see Commands). You need to be connected already.
âĻ Tile Windows
Arranges all open windows in a grid.
đ Cascade Windows
Stacks them in a staircase pattern.
âšī¸ About Yoake
Information about Yoake (version, technologies used).
Address Book
The equivalent of mIRC's Address Book window, adapted to Telegram and WhatsApp. Opens from the đ icon in the
toolbar, or from Tools.
Field/Button
What it does
Network
Chooses whether to manage Telegram or WhatsApp contacts.
Contact
Dropdown list of the chosen network's contacts.
đ (next to the Contact menu)
Opens a small search popup by name or phone number,
handy with lots of contacts - the same search already available in /contacts (see
Commands). Clicking a result selects it in the Contact menu and closes the popup.
Name
Renames the contact. On Telegram this is a real operation, synced to the account
(the updated name also appears on your other linked devices) - it uses Telegram's native command to
add/update a contact. On WhatsApp it's local only: Baileys doesn't allow writing to the phone's address
book, so the name only changes inside Yoake.
Phone
Read-only: the number associated with the contact, when available.
Email / Website / Notes
Free-form fields saved only inside Yoake (neither network supports them
natively), handy as a personal reminder about the contact.
Chat
Opens a private chat with the selected contact.
Who is?
Shows the available information about the contact, the same result as the
whois command (see Commands).
Save
Saves the changes made to the selected contact.
Notify tab
Like real mIRC: a list of contacts to be notified about when they connect or disconnect. A system
message (đ) appears in that network's Status when one of them changes state.
Field/Button
What it does
đĸ / âĒ / â
Indicator next to the name: green = online now, white = offline, question
mark = state not received yet (just added, before any event).
Remove
Removes the contact from the Notify list.
Add selected contact in Contacts
Adds the contact chosen on the Contacts tab to the
Notify list.
On Telegram, presence arrives automatically for contacts (no action needed). On
WhatsApp, Baileys requires an explicit subscription for each contact (done automatically as soon as you
add it, and repeated on every reconnection) - if the contact has set their "Last seen" privacy to
"Nobody", WhatsApp won't send any presence event regardless, no matter this subscription.

mIRC tab
Why
Who is?
In mIRC's Address Book window it shows IRC protocol-specific data (host,
shared channels, server, ping) - here that information is already covered by the Who is? button, adapted to
Telegram/WhatsApp.
Options
Path to the external mail program used by mIRC's Email button - here there's no
Email button that launches an external program.
